WHERE ARE YOU LOCATED?
We are located on Chelsea road in Bath, UK.
1 park road, Newbridge, BA1 3EE
iS THERE ANY PARKING?
There is on street parking available around the venue. Please send us a message for directions or information on parking restrictions.
There is also a bus stop at the bottom of our road if you are looking to use public transport.
whats included in a session?
Your session is 90 minutes. Every child ticket includes one adult FREE of charge, (please add this to your booking) if you wish to bring along another adult or child please add additional tickets to your session.
We ask that no food or hot or cold drinks are allowed in the Play room itself, we have an allocated space within our cafe if you do wish to purchase any food or drink onsite during your session.
can i bring my older kids?
Yes you are able to bring along older children to your session. Please add an additional child ticket over the age of 5 to your booking.
Please keep in mind that our play room is designed for children and babies between the ages of 0-5 and therefore ask that any older children are mindful of their being lots of little children around in the space and encourage gentle play throughout.
is it pre-book sessions only?
If a session is not fully booked we may be able to accept some walk-ins however this is subject to availability and would therefore suggest booking your time slot in advance.
is there space for a buggy?
Yes we have an allocated buggy park in our cafe! We just ask that if you can collapse your buggy please do so we can fit everyone in!
are there any toys in the cafe area?
We ask that all Play room toys are kept inside the room, however we do have a selection of books and small toys, colouring etc that can be brought to your table to keep your little ones entertained whilst you eat!
can you bring your own food?
We ask that only food purchased onsite is consumed within the premises. This is due to our health and hygiene regulations. For example, outside food may introduce allergens not declared or managed by the café, putting other children and adults at risk.
What food is available?
We have lots of nutritious food and drink available at our onsite superfood cafe ‘Blended’ please click the tab above to take a look at our menu.
We offer smoothie bowls, granola bowls, fresh juices and smoothies and of course hot and cold coffee and canned drinks. We also have a hot food menu.
can you bring food into the playroom?
We have a strict no food or drink policy in the playroom. This is for health and safety and hygiene reasons. There is an allocated space with tables, chairs and highchairs available to consume any food and drink.
do you have baby changing facilities?
We have allocated baby changing and toilet facilities within our play space that are seperate to our cafe (however you can use those too!) We also have a potty and extra nappies, wipes, breast pads, sanitary products, etc for those in need.
Can i breastfeed onsite?
Of course you are welcome to breastfeed within the cafe or the play space, we have a designated breastfeeding chair and nursing pillows within our sensory space if you wish for a bit more privacy!
do you change your toys?
Yes, we regularly rotate our toys to keep play fresh, engaging, and open-ended. Follow our instagram @theplayroom_uk for all updates or sign up for to our email list to keep in touch!
do you cater for SEN children?
Our space is designed with all children in mind, including those with SEN. We’re a child-led environment that encourages connection, exploration, and getting down on their level — a space where every child is seen, supported, and celebrated just as they are.

faq’s - blank space studio
what do i get when i book a party?
You are able to choose whether you wish to have the toys included in your event or whether you would like a blank space! Catering options and party planning options are available send us an enquiry to find out more.
WHat type of events can i book the studio for?
From birthdays to baby showers our events space caters to varies different types of occasions. Please send us a DM or email for more information.
can i reschedule my event?
Yes! Studio credit from rescheduling will be available for your rebooking within 30 days from your original booking date.
Please note Rescheduling less than 48 hours of your booking will not receive a reschedule option.
